1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website at rankroot.co, signing up for a free trial, or purchasing any RankRoot service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and RankRoot, Inc. ("RankRoot," "we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

RankRoot provides a local search visibility service designed to improve a business's presence on Google Maps and Google Local Search. Our service works by driving real, human engagement to your Google Business Profile (GBP) through third-party partnerships.

Our service includes:

• Neighborhood-focused engagement activity directed at your Google Business Profile
• Targeted activity around keywords you specify during sign-up
• Bi-weekly ranking progress reports
• Ongoing optimization of engagement strategies based on your results

RankRoot does not require access to your Google account, Google Business Profile login credentials, or your website. We operate entirely through external, publicly accessible engagement activity.

3. Free Trial

RankRoot offers a 30-day free trial to new clients. The following conditions apply to the free trial:

• No credit card is required to begin the free trial
• The free trial is available to new clients only — one trial per business
• The free trial begins on the date we confirm your sign-up and commence service activity
• At the end of the 30-day trial period, you will be contacted regarding continuation of service
• You will never be automatically charged. Payment only begins if you explicitly choose to continue and set up a Stripe subscription after your trial
• RankRoot reserves the right to decline a free trial if the business does not meet eligibility requirements

4. No Guarantee of Results

RankRoot makes no guarantee, express or implied, that use of our service will result in any specific ranking position on Google Maps, Google Local Search, or any other platform.

While our goal is to move your business toward a top 3 position in Google Maps for your neighborhood, actual results depend on factors outside our control, including but not limited to:

• The competitiveness of your local market and industry
• The quality and completeness of your existing Google Business Profile
• The number and quality of your existing Google reviews
• Changes to Google's algorithm or ranking criteria
• The accuracy and relevance of the keywords you provide
• Your website's existing SEO and content quality

By signing up for RankRoot's service, you acknowledge that results vary and that no specific outcome is promised or guaranteed. Any case studies, testimonials, or examples shown on our website represent past results and are not a guarantee of future performance.

5. Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for RankRoot's service, your business must meet the following minimum requirements:

• An active, verified Google Business Profile with a physical address — a real storefront, office, or location that customers can visit in person. Service-area-only businesses with no physical address listed on Google are not eligible for this service
• A minimum of 10 existing Google reviews on your profile
• A legitimate, operating local business serving customers in a defined geographic area
• Agreement to these Terms and Conditions

RankRoot reserves the right to pause or terminate service for any client whose profile does not meet these requirements or falls out of compliance after service begins.

6. Payment & Billing

After your free 30-day trial concludes, continued use of RankRoot's service requires a paid monthly subscription. Pricing is confirmed with you before any charge is made.

Pricing is per Google Business Profile location. Each physical location enrolled in the service is billed as a separate subscription at either $297/month (standard markets) or $497/month (competitive markets), as determined following your free trial review.

Payment is processed securely through Stripe. After agreeing to continue, you will receive a Stripe subscription link by email to set up payment. RankRoot does not store your card or payment details. Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis on the same calendar date each month.

• Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe on the same calendar date each month
• Each Google Business Profile location is a separate subscription — multiple locations are billed separately
• Payment is due at the start of each billing period
• All payments are processed by Stripe — RankRoot does not store card or banking details
• Failure to make timely payment may result in suspension or termination of service for the affected location(s)

You will never be charged without your explicit prior consent. No subscription is created until you actively set one up via the Stripe link provided after your free trial.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your RankRoot subscription at any time directly through your Stripe subscription portal, or by emailing support@rankroot.co or through your account dashboard.

• Cancellations must be submitted before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the following month
• Upon cancellation, your service will remain active through the end of the current paid billing period
• RankRoot will cease all engagement activity on your profile upon the effective cancellation date
• Cancelling during a free trial incurs no charge whatsoever

RankRoot also reserves the right to cancel or suspend service at its discretion, with notice provided to the client.

8. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of our service — which involves real human labor and third-party engagement activity that begins immediately upon service commencement — the following refund policy applies:

• The 30-day free trial is free of charge; no refund is applicable
• Payments made for a current active billing period are non-refundable once service has commenced for that period
• If RankRoot fails to deliver any agreed-upon service due to an error on our part, we will work with you to provide a credit or resolution at our discretion
• No refunds will be issued based solely on dissatisfaction with ranking results, as results are not guaranteed

9. Acceptable Use

By using RankRoot's service, you agree that your business and Google Business Profile are legitimate, lawfully operating, and accurately represented. You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information during sign-up
• Use our service to promote illegal products or services
• Attempt to manipulate or interfere with our service delivery
• Resell or white-label our service without prior written agreement

Violation of these conditions may result in immediate termination of service without refund.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RankRoot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our service, including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of business opportunity.

RankRoot's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of our service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to RankRoot in the three months preceding the claim.

RankRoot is not responsible for any changes Google makes to its algorithm, ranking systems, or Google Business Profile policies that may affect your rankings during or after our service.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the RankRoot website, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is the property of RankRoot, Inc. and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Ranking reports and materials we produce for your business are provided for your personal business use and may not be resold or redistributed.

12. Changes to These Terms
